  3. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg. Roll up the pastry strips tightly, enclosing the sausage filling.
  4. Brush the tops of the rolls with remaining egg.
  5. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them for expansion.

Bake to Golden Perfection:

  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.

Game-Time Tip:

  • For an extra cheesy touch, sprinkle the tops of the rolls with grated cheddar cheese before baking.

Let’s Get Dipping:

  1. Serve the sausage rolls warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as mustard, ketchup, or BBQ sauce.

Touchdown Time!

With their flaky pastry, savory filling, and portable size, sausage rolls are the perfect finger food for any Super Bowl party. So, grab your ingredients, get creative, and prepare to score major points with your guests!

Bonus Tip:

  • Make these rolls ahead of time and freeze them unbaked. When you’re ready to serve, simply thaw them in the refrigerator and bake as directed.

Additional Tips:

  • Use a sharp knife to cut the pastry strips to prevent tearing.
  • If the pastry becomes too soft while working with it, pop it back into the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. Give the rolls plenty of space to expand.
  • Be sure to cook the sausage filling all the way through before assembling the rolls.
  • If you don’t have fresh herbs, you can use 1 teaspoon of dried herbs instead.
